2D Canvas Modes for Movement
The icons for the two Movement modes are located in the pane at the right of the 2D Canvas.
Select/Move
You use the Select/Move mode to select the locations in the 2D Canvas without creating a movement between the current and previously selected locations.
When you select a location in the 2D Canvas, the rules that include the location as a source or destination are highlighted in the Material movement data grid.
When you select Show only canvas selection in the Material movement data grid, and select a location in the 2D Canvas, only the rules that include the location as a source or destination are displayed in the data grid.
You can also use the Select/Move mode to move locations on the 2D Canvas to more clearly represent the flow of movement.
Material Movement
You can use the Material Movement mode to create movement rules on the 2D Canvas. You create a rule by dragging from the location at which the material originates to the location at which the material is deposited.
